DACA 春节联欢会

DACA Chinese New Year Party was held at Beavercreek High School.

四川莉娟金蔷薇女子合唱团访问俄亥俄州，取得了圆满成功。

在春暖花开的四月，南俄亥俄州接待了来自中国四川音乐学院的莉娟金蔷薇女子合唱团。合唱团带来了丰富多彩的，高水平的中国文艺。

短短的访问取得了圆满成功。

At the invitation of the University of Dayton, Lijuan Golden Rose Girls’ Choir came to Dayton, Ohio under the leadership of their director, Professor Zhang Lijuan from Sichuan Conservatory in China on April 10, 2008. They traveled half the globe to present us with a night of brilliant singing and dancing in dashing costumes, showcasing the great diversity of Chinese folk music. They gave two performances. Over 800 people attended the performances, which were so well-received that both got standing ovation at the end. Professor Zhang and Choir members also had an academic visit to College-Conservatory of Music at University of Cincinnati, a worldwide well-known music institute.

DACA 春节联欢会

DACA的春节联欢会在狸湾高中举行。DACA会员和朋友们，以及狸湾高中中国文化俱乐部的同学们聚在一起，欢庆农历新年和元宵节。九十分钟的节目让大家一饱眼福。聚餐十分丰盛，米饭炒菜应有尽有。中国人讲究吃饺子现包现下锅，十来位DACA会员和朋友们齐动手，上千个饺子一小时就包好了。演出结束后，一盘盘热腾腾的饺子展现在大家面前。为了感谢狸湾高中对我们的支持，郑国华会长向学校赠送了礼物

DACA Chinese New Year Party was held at Beavercreek High School. Friends, members of DACA and Beavercreek High School Chinese Culture Club got gotether, celebrated Chinese New Year and Lantern Festival. Ninty minutes of performances gave audiences a good entertainments. Dinner was a real feast, various foods was on tables. As a Chinese tradition, friends and DACA members were making dumplings then boiling them soon afterward. Dishes of steaming dumplings were ready to eat. President Ted Zheng presented gifts to Beavercreek High School for appriciations of its supports.

现代中文学校春节联欢会

一年一度的现代中文学校春节联欢会在 Wright State University 举行。联欢会以传统的舞龙开始，每个班都拿出自己的学习成果向大家汇报，精彩节目有：学前班的同学和家长的歌曲“小兔乖乖”，幼儿班的同学和家长的歌曲“雄猫咪咪”，一班同学的诗与歌，二班同学的诗朗诵，三班和四班同学合唱的歌曲“让我们荡起双浆”和童话剧“猪小弟”，五班同学的童话剧“小红帽”，六班同学的童话剧“美丽的公鸡”，七班同学的小品“四鼠拜年”，八班同学的童话剧“灰姑娘”，舞蹈一班的“康定情歌”，舞蹈二班的“好心理情”，家长舞蹈班的“阳光灿烂”已及成人太极剑。汇报演出结束后，大家在一起聚餐，叙旧迎新，共同度过了一个愉快的周末。

The anual GDCS Chinese New Year Party was held in mulit-purpose room at Wright State University. The traditional dragon dance started the celeberation, students from all classes step on stage to show their talents and achievements: song "A cute little bunny" by pre-school class, song "panda" by kindergartn class, poem&song by class1, poem by class 2, songs "let's row" and fairy tale "little pigs" by class 3 and 4, fairy tale "little red riding hood" by class 5, fairy tale "a beautiful rooster" by class 6, comedy "new year's greeting from four mice" by class 7, fairy tale "cinderella" by class 8, dance "Kangding Love song" by dance class 1, dance "confort feeling" by dance class 2, dance "bright sun shine" by adult dance class and martial arts by martial arts class. After the performances, students and their parents/friends had a dinner party.

中国日并2008中国春节

由俄亥俄州十四所中文学校和华人社团发起并组织的“中国日并2008中国春节”庆祝活动于二月三日在哥伦布市举行。庆祝活动有儿童游戏，成人棋赛，球类比赛和长达六小时的文艺节目。代顿现代中文学校的同学们共表演了六个节目，得到大家好评。罗秀梅老师指导的舞蹈尤其受到称赞。整个活动从上午十点开始，一直延续到晚上九点。

“China Day and 2008 Chinese Sprint Festival Day” were held in Columbus Ohio in February 3rd. The event was initiated and sponsored by fourteen organizations from Chinese communities in Ohio. Activities of celebration included Children’s game, adults Chinese chess games, various sports and six hours of stage performances. GDCS students contributed six performances and received good critics, dances of Class 1 directed by Luo Xiu-Mei won a special acclaim of audiences. Entire event continued eleven hours, from 10Am to 9PM.

FCC-Dayton 二零零八年中国新年联欢会

收养中国儿童家庭代顿分会于二月二日举办了二零零八年中国新年联欢会。美国父母和他们从中国收养的儿童聚在一起，吃中国饭，看中国舞，舞中国龙，过了一个欢乐的中国新年。

On February 2^nd,FCC-Dayton 2008 Chinese New Year Celebration was held in Hope Hotel. American parents and their adopted children got together and were enjoying Chinese dinner, watching Chinese performance，dancing with “Chinese Dragon” and celebrating Chinese New Year.
